IEEE/OES Homeland Security Ocean and Maritime Technology Workshop

Ocean Design, Inc., will be taking part in this vital conference on new
technologies available for Homeland Security. The purpose of the workshop is to
bring together technology companies, large defense contractors, military,
government, academia, and non-for-profit institutes who are developing
technologies and products for Ocean and Maritime Technologies for
Infrastructure Protection. This IEEE-OES workshop provides an unprecedented
opportunity to network with engineers, scientists, maritime legal experts,
local, state, and federal government personnel who all share a common concern
and goal in providing advance technologies to protect vital maritime
infrastructure and provide for the safety of our ports, coastal eco-systems and
our oceans. John Flynn, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Ken Nagengast,

"Subsea Interconnectivity Solutions for Coastal Homeland Security Systems",
a review of available hardware and applications developed by ODI, as well as
future hardware under development, to further the ability to easily deploy and
reconfigure the subsea Homeland Security Systems.

The 2005 APPEA Conference & Exhibition will be the largest upstream industry
event for the offshore oil and gas market ever to be held in Australia to date.
And excess of 1500 participants attended the 4 days of conferencing, taking
advantage of the opportunity to network and conduct business. The exhibition of
over 140 booths attracted exhibitors from Australia, China, USA, and global
network organizations. The plenary speakers were on local, national and
international levels, presenting over 51 technical papers and over 20 technical
posters on display.
