ODI has once again been asked to present their latest technology at a leading forum addressing technical issues related to exploration, development, and production of oil and gas in deep and ultra deepwater basins around the world. Shadi Awwad of ODI will present "Long-Offset Tieback - The Challenges & Solutions for Subsea Connections" on November 29, 2006, Wednesday, at 9am in Session 4 - Subsea / Flow Assurance Track.

The Oceans 06 MTS/IEEE-Boston Conference and Exhibition will be held in Boston Massachusetts from September 18-21, 2006. The birthplace of the American Revolution, Massachusetts and the surrounding New England region enjoys a centuries-old relationship with the ocean; from the fishing and whaling ports of Gloucester and New Bedford to the premier technology centers of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the US Navy's Undersea Warfare Center. The OCEANS 06-Boston technical program will continue to emphasize the traditional core areas of marine science and technology development.

ODI presented the following paper   "Current and Future Wet-Mate Connector Technology Developments for Scientific Seabed Observatory Applications" written by Howard Painter and John Flynn on September 19th, Tuesday, between 10:15am and 12 Noon, in Meeting Room 103, at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston Massachusetts.

The 2006 edition of the Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference will use to advantage the potential of Riocentro Convention Centre. The exhibition will take place in the four pavilions, a total of 30.500 square meter area, confirming its position among the most important oil & gas events in the world.

Rio Oil & Gas Conference, held concurrently with the Exposition, attracts important professionals and industry leaders in search for new technologies and management practices in the oil and gas industry, to Rio de Janeiro.

ODI presented the following paper "Subsea to Shore - The Challenges and Solutions for Subsea Connections" written by Howard Painter, Perry Wright and Gary Clark on September 12th, Tuesday, at the Riocentro Convention Centre in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

This year's panel of speakers represent the major oil companies currently operating in West Africa including BP, Exxon Mobil and Total. ODI has been asked to present their paper entitled "Long Step-outs - The Challenges and Solutions for Subsea Connections", co-written by Roger White, Gary Clark and Perry Wright.

Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is the world's foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection. With an attendance that consistently exceeds 50,000 and more than 2,000 exhibiting companies, OTC is ranked among the largest annually held trade shows in the US. During the morning session of the May 1st Production Optimization Technology Technical Program, ODI presented their paper "Fiber-Optic Down-Hole Sensing - A Discussion on Applications and Enabling Well-Head Connection Technology" .This abstract was co-authored by Perry J. Wright, Fiber Optic Technology Manager at ODI, and Willard Womack, Senior Project Engineer at ODI. We have also included Mr. Wright presentation for review here as well.

The annual Subsea Tieback Conference & Exhibition (SSTB) has become the premier event for one of the fastest growing field development segments. Over 1,000 people and 75 exhibitors are expected at this year's conference to be held at the Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center.
